Investor Charter for Research Analysts

Published in line with SEBI circular dated November 1, 2021 (SEBI/HO/IMD-II/IMD-II_DOF8/P/CIR/2021/636). Sets out your rights, our service standards, and how to escalate a grievance.

Registration No. INH000024675 under SEBI (Research Analyst) Regulations, 2014. Validity: perpetual unless suspended or cancelled by SEBI.

To provide high-quality, structured research on Indian capital markets — across equities, futures, and options — and to deliver it through fair, transparent, and SEBI-compliant channels that respect investor rights.

Services Provided to Investors

  • Research recommendations on listed Indian equities, futures, and options (intraday, short-term, positional).
  • Structured trade ideas with entry, stop-loss, targets, and rationale.
  • Performance reporting and historical track records of published calls.
  • Educational research articles and market commentary.

Tradzo Research does not execute trades on your behalf, does not handle client funds or securities, and is not a broker.

Rights of Investors

  • Right to fair, unbiased, and objective research.
  • Right to know the basis, assumptions, and disclosures behind every recommendation.
  • Right to be informed of any conflict of interest, including whether the analyst or firm has a position in the recommended security.
  • Right to disclosure of fees, charges, and the period for which a recommendation is valid.
  • Right to grievance redressal within prescribed timelines, including escalation to SEBI SCORES and ODR platforms.
  • Right to data privacy as per the DPDP Act, 2023.
  • Right to terminate the service and seek a refund as per the published refund policy.

DOs for Investors

  • Deal only with SEBI-registered Research Analysts. Verify the registration number on the SEBI website.
  • Read the recommendation, its rationale, the assumed time horizon, and the disclosures in full before acting on it.
  • Take your own informed view; recommendations are research, not personal investment advice.
  • Maintain records of recommendations received and any payments made.
  • Always pay subscription fees through authorised payment channels published by the RA.
  • Lodge grievances directly with the RA first. If unresolved within 21 days, escalate to SCORES or ODR.

DON'Ts for Investors

  • Do not deal with unregistered entities offering “tips” on WhatsApp, Telegram, or other social channels.
  • Do not share your trading account credentials, OTPs, or PAN with the RA or its representatives.
  • Do not be influenced by assured-return or guaranteed-profit claims — they are prohibited under SEBI regulations.
  • Do not pay cash, or transfer money to personal accounts of employees of the RA.
  • Do not act on a recommendation without understanding the associated risk, especially for derivative products.

Investor Grievance Redressal Mechanism

Tradzo Research handles grievances at three levels:

  1. Level 1 — Customer Care: Write to care@tradzo.in or call +91 79 4039 1464. Acknowledgement within 1 working day; resolution within 7 working days.
  2. Level 2 — Compliance Officer: If unresolved, escalate to shweta.patel@tradzo.in. Resolution within an additional 14 calendar days.
  3. Level 3 — SEBI SCORES / ODR: If still unresolved after 21 calendar days, you may approach the regulator:

Expectations from Investors (Responsibilities)

  • Provide accurate, current information at onboarding and update changes promptly.
  • Read and understand every recommendation, including its risk section and disclosures.
  • Pay subscription dues on time and only through authorised channels.
  • Treat the RA's research as one input into your decision — you are responsible for the trades you execute.
  • Cooperate with KYC, risk-profile, and compliance checks required by SEBI.
